A mix of awe, confusion, and a search for meaning in a world that never stops moving.

Overview

In Whirlwind of the Waking Dream, I explore the chaos of our fast-changing world, particularly in the context of our shift towards a more digital future. The rapid pace of life creates a blur between what's real and what's not, and between dreams and waking life. Each realm in this work represents a different aspect of our constantly changing world.

This piece is my way of navigating and coming to terms with these relentless changes. It's a mix of awe, confusion, and a search for meaning in a world that never stops moving. It's about trying to find solid ground in an ever-shifting landscape, a journey that continually challenges my perceptions and pushes me to evolve with the world around me.

The realms

I. Reality. Her bedroom, grounded in the familiar. The scene is dotted with hints of what is to come, a butterfly poster on the wall, a book about AI on the table.

II. The Mirror Realm. A reflection of today's echo chambers, capturing the divided nature of a world moving further into a digital future.

III. The Butterfly. Inspired by Zhuangzi's butterfly dream, this scene blurs the line between dreams and reality, speaking to the challenge of distinguishing the real from the not-real in a digital era.

IV. AI Filtered. An AI-generated forest scene where technology merges with the wild, symbolizing AI's unpredictable journey and its inevitable integration into our lives.
